Debra Tan is a
Montreal area based kitchen designer whose work has been featured in many international and regional magazines.
Her custom kitchens have been installed in homes all the way from Florida to Canada but most of her projects are concentrated in the Montreal area and New England states.
Credentials:
After working for
over ten years as an
Architectural Consultant
and Project Manager in commercial interior design, Debra made the switch to residential kitchen and interior design.
She has enjoyed designing custom kitchens, bathrooms and studies for the past eleven years starting in a small millwork shop where she learned the intricate details that go into hand made cabinetry. In 2002 she founded True North Custom Cabinets.
Today, she works with
some of the best cabinet makers and installers in the business. No detail of your kitchen renovation will be overlooked.
‘I wanted it to feel like it was part of the architecture of the room,” she says, admitting the design underwent several revisions before both cabinetmaker and client were satisfied. “It needed to have the grandeur one associates with a fine Parisian hotel,” Tan says
